Blood Sugar A1c, Cholesterol, Liver Enzymes, C-Reactive Protein, Hypothyroidism Improved; Tapered Off of Medications, Lost 40 lbs.
I found Dan the Man (DTM) and then eventually Dr. Robert Morse’s (DRM) videos in late 2012, and officially started the detox path I would say Jan. 1st 2013. I had a laundry list of diseases and symptoms as follows: high blood pressure and on meds for 6 years or more, hypothyroid and on meds 7 years or more, diagnosed with fibromyalgia about 15 years ago, as well as osteoarthritis all over body, high liver enzymes, high c reactive protein, fatigue, brain fog, constant pain all over, 90 lbs. overweight, high blood sugar; 6.4 A1c (6.5 is diabetic), high cholesterol, you get the picture, not a good one!
So I had good motivation for change, and have been looking for something my whole life to get to the bottom of all these health issues, like really to the bottom of them; tried everything under the sun (supplements, IV therapy, massage (all kinds), acupuncture, all kinds of diets, colonics, chiropractor, cleanses of all kinds, energy work, emotional work, you name it I have probably done it.
So I finally have gotten to the bottom of it all: acidosis. That is the culprit, plain and simple. So I started on the program with the FAB 4 and Parasite M (had been on many parasite cleanses in the past also) for a few weeks, then the end of January got a written protocol from DRM and added to the FAB 4: Heal-All Tea, and then Liver/Gallbladder, thyroid glandular, adrenal glandular, and then towards the end of the 12 weeks Blood formula, Lymph Nodes 1 and Lymph Nodes 2, and another Kidneys & Bladder formula, so was on all that for 14 weeks and kept getting better at the diet with fruit and vegetables, green juice or smoothie every day, several fruit every day, probably 75% overall raw/fruit/veggie.
End of April I got blood work done and everything had improved, most importantly blood sugar A1c went down to 5.7 (from 6.4), cholesterol went down, all to almost normal and some normal levels, liver enzymes went down, 1 to normal range and the other to almost normal range, c reactive protein went down from a 10 to a 5.5!, and thyroid went down to optimal normal levels (1.9 TSH and normal T3 and 4) this hadn’t happened in over 5 years and that was WITH medication! Lost 40 lbs., had more energy, slept better, this was all the end of April, so only in about 3-4 months.
Since then I have further tweaked my diet and am about 85-90% raw/fruits/veggies, many days 100%…done a couple of 3-4 day watermelon feasts and juice feasts this summer and really upped the fruit levels, lots of melons, grapes, and green juices; I added in on my own parathyroid glandular (had many of the symptoms), neuromuscular, drinking a lot more HAT, and still on the other formulas also.
My blood pressure was normal range since January and even going lower, so I decided to titrate myself off the medication (I was on a high dose), so that is what I did by cutting it in 3/4th, then in 1/2, and then in 1/4, and went in last week and it was 102/62, so my DR said I could go off completely and just check it for 6 weeks to make sure so that is what I am doing. I am also off the muscle relaxant for fibromyalgia, so the only med I have left is the thyroid one and I am working on titrating myself off that now and staying on the glandular and thyroid formula and started kelp.
This next week I am going to step it all up a notch and go 100% raw until, until I am in optimal health, probably about 90% fruit and 10% salad or green juice if needed. I also am working up to do a grape fast in September, and some more melon fasts in August and maybe a few 1-3 day water fasts in-between that is the plan.
So that is my story in a nutshell, I shall repost when I have reached other goals, I feel like I am 1/2 way there, still have 50 lbs. to lose, thyroid med to get off, and c reactive protein to lower more as well as pain in body to go completely away. I believe anything is possible and so grateful to have found DRM, his videos, herbs, and the great people on these wonderful sites.
Updates
August 8, 2013
Just got the most wonderful blood work news, I get it checked twice a year, I had high liver enzymes for several years, like 8 or more and last March my CRP (c reactive protein), which is an inflammation marker was 10!!! Considerable cause for concern! In July it was still 6.5 as of yesterday it went down to…….9!!!! 1 or below is considered GOOD, I could hardly believe it, that is the best news ever for me, I am not sure what was going on for it to be that high last Feb. and summer, I am just thankful it has gone back to normal, and my liver panel was also normal except 1 liver enzyme was very slightly elevated (like 5 points over normal), at one point it was 50 plus points over normal…all good news….next is blood sugar and cholesterol tests, cholesterol had shot up to over 300 this summer, not as concerned about that, but hoping that has normalized also….I am still working at titrating off my thyroid med…that is still in process… on a thyroid glandular and kelp, just wanted to share the good news.
